who drinks 2 litres a day ? and do you find it hard to drink 2 litres everydayy ??

i try to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but most of it is juice, with the occasional fizzy drink thrown in too. water sucks, but we should be pleased we have it, unlike other third-world countries.

no i drink about 4 litres a day but i probably shouldnt as its diet coke and is probably rotting my stomach
dunno, sometimes, sometimes i used to drink 8 litres per day, its not hard if it tastes good.
I find it hard to drink one litre let alone two.
I can usually manage around 200 - 300ml - which annoys my doctors, but I do try to drink more.

I don't. Certainly water anyway. Maybe litres of tea.
2 litres of what, it's not hard to drink that much ,in say a 16 hr period,it does'nt have to be water though, thats bunk...........
it's hard to do it in a cold climate. when things warm up you will find it much easier to drink that or more.
when i was away from UK and in a much warmer country i used to drink about 6-8 litres of water in a day.

yep I do but Im on a certain drug or IVF so if I didnt i could be hospitalised so having too but finding it really hard
You need to consider that all water consumed counts toward your 2 litres.
E.g. the milk on your cereal, soup is mostly water, most fruits have alot of water and some veges. Coffee counts (though not espresso) ---- all this in addition to whatever you actually drink, so it is quite easy.
it is hard to drink that much water if you only count plain water. But I heard a doctor on the radio say that the whole "drink two liters of water a day" thing was a myth. Someone jsut made up that number.
First he said - any place there is water in your diet counts - in fruits, vegetables, even meat. Certainly other beverages count.
Second, he said the body is very good at telling you when it is thirsty. The only time it can be off is in extreme conditions like very hot days or if you were sweating quite a lot.
So listen to you body, you'll know if you need water or not.
I drink about 3.5 littres of water a day, and about 500 ml of other beverages like juice and tea a day.
