Am I too health conscious?

Hi, I'm in my late teens, and I'm not the average Uni student. I'm gonna be really open with you guys.
-I try to avoid too much sunlight and I moisturise daily (I know you think that sounds girly but I look after my skin)
-I don't drink a lot of alcohol at all- only at social occasions like parties
-I don't smoke, never have done, don't see the point in smoking
-The only drinks I drink are water, fruit juice, dairy free milks (slightly allergic to dairy), smoothies & green tea- nothing else
-I avoid meat, pizzas, pastries, pies and other convenience foods
-I spend a fortune on healthy food such as fruit
-I buy 'healthy' magazine monthly from Holland & Barrett.

Am I far too health conscious? Thanks in advance.
There are some answers for your reference as below, you can choose your best answers

Those are choices that you have made.

Nothing wrong in any of the choices that you have made - several of them actually very intelligent.

You only get one body - might as well treat it the best that you can from as young as you can so that it will last as long as it can.

The fact that you're even asking the question gives me pause. It is definitely possible for a person to be too health conscious. Is it interfering with your day to day life? Does it control you? Does it keep you from socializing with friends when you might like to?

And you say you spend a fortune on healthy food. Is this more than you can afford to spend, yet you spend it anyway?

If you're in your late teens, then you "legally" shouldn't be drinking anyways.

fruit jucie and smoothies can be high in sugar, unless you make them yourself

buying healthy magazines do nothing for you unless you read them

You aren't TOO health conscious. I mean you are, but not to the point where you have OCD. It is good for you to watch out for your health. I give you kudos :)

Nope, we got alot of things in common. Except for the sun thing.
I don't see a problem with trying to look after and take care of yourself, alot of people don't.

Good for you

Are you asking?

Or bragging?

Your question truly is one only you can answer.

no totally not. being healthy is a good plus I sometimes feel too health conscious but then I realize hey whats wrong w/ bein healthy its totally better for u ^_^

maby a lil but your smart and if you do all that you should be realllllllly helthy

There's no such thing as TOO health conscious. You are right on the money. Good for you!

:D

Nope thats great, Im similar to that and 17.

no. I think it's good that you want to take care of your body and not ruin it with drugs and junk food.

I don't think so. You're probably gonna live forever doing all that!!! lol.

That is excellent, keep it up. But -- no pizza? I loove pizza!!

no
i think you are smart

you're doing perfectly fine im sure ur more healthy then lots of people!

You need sunlight and pure air. Caffeinated and alcoholic drinks do not nourish the system and should be wholly discarded.

No you are just healthy and its pretty hard to be "too health concious" unless if you are a germophobe with your own "bio-dome".
