Yes! They are even HEALTHIER if whole eggs are used than just the egg whites (contrary to popular belief). According to cholesterol-and-health.com, "the slew of nutrients in an egg yolk is so comprehensive that a few a day would offer better insurance than a multi-vitamin"! That is how nutritious egg yolks are! Moreover, "the yolk contains most of the nutrients in an egg. Egg whites, on the other hand, contain far fewer nutrients. The only thing that could justify their consumption is their attachment to their companion yolk."
The article also gives a good explanation as to why egg yolks are so healthy: "The yolk contains the majority of the copper, nearly all of the calcium, iron, folate, and B6, and 100% of the vitamins A and E."
So, to answer your question, egg sandwiches ARE good for you, so long as you don't have high cholesterol. The egg sandwich could be even healthier if the eggs are fried in olive oil (rather than butter), if the bread used to make the sandwich is whole-grain rather than white, if there is no bacon or cheese in the sandwich, and if veggies are fried with the eggs (to make a veggie omelet, for instance).
why wouldn't they be? Unless you have high cholesterol, then you'd need to watch your intake of eggs..... But they're sure alot better for you than processed meats or cheeses!

yes they are. plenty of protein
Yes & no. the mayo is fattening but the eggs are high in protein.
they aren't good or bad particularly - they just are. I think they taste good and that's good for me.
You could look at it either way, too much fat and cholesterol or good source of protein. As part of a balanced diet they are fine, but it can't be your whole diet.

egg whites
on whole wheat/multigrain toast or english muffin
a bit of salt and pepper
and a touch of ketchup.

skip the bacon... and if u put cheese use the minimal and it should be low fat.
sure protein is good for you just not to many cause fat isnt
Egg yolks have a very high cholesterol content. Too much of that is not good. So it's better to not overdo it. Once in awhile, egg sandwiches, but not all the time.
