I have had red wine vinegar in my cabinet for months. I was gonna refill my oil and vinegar bottles today and I noticed this nasty stuff floating around inside. It was dark and pretty gross looking. Does that mean it went bad? I threw it out just be be safe but for future reference can Red Wine Vinegar actually go bad? I am talking leaving it in a dark cabinet for months at a time or was that stuff in it not what I thought?
