There are some answers for your reference as below, you can choose your best answers
I don't think so and I am the queen of cheap. This is your wedding day and if you were totally happy with the product, that's what counts. You can't do anything about it now!
I'm getting married in 3 months and the wedding cake of my dreams is costing us $8.50 a person (we are having around 70 people). This is actually one of the lower costing cakes at my venue and I absolutely love it. It's a 3 layer cake with fresh floral and a white chocolate castle on top. Each layer is different (first layer is almond cake w/amaretto mousse, 2nd is chocolate cake w/bailey's mouse and top layer is yellow cake with tropical mousse and we have fondant for the outer part of it).
It all depends on what's important to YOU! :)
Yes. I tried cakes ranging from $2 a serving to crazy prices like $10 a serving. Guess what? They are all cake. The decoration didn't seem to play into the cost that much when we were looking. Some bakeries are just more "prestigious" than others. We ended up having a lady that does it out of her home make ours. I think it was $300 or $400 and served 250 people. It was as pretty as anything in a magazine and the actual cake was better than any of the others we tried.
But don't second guess yourself and drive yourself crazy. It's over, you cake looks very pretty, and I'm sure a good time was had by all....so let it go.
I don't even need to look at a picture and neither should you.
Don't look back. You thought it was a good deal when you ordered it or I am sure you would have gotten a better price from someone else.
Are you still looking at wedding dresses? Are you still pricing halls?
Did you have a good time? Did your guests? Did the cake taste good?
Be more concerned about the future.
No, that is a labor intensive cake. I do it as a part time income and I think it is gorgeous. The roses alone would run $100.00
and you did not say what type of cake or filling. You are lucky that you can afford the wedding let alone the cake.

beautiful cake! I hate cake but I'd eat a slice of that! lol. I think the price is pretty fair. It really does take labor to cook/bake, especially something so exquisite!
That cake is beautiful!! and it looks yummy too! if you believe it was worth every penny, then you def. didn't pay too much!
Yes,I think you did. It is a pretty cake, but 3.00 per serving would have been about max.
I can't see the pic but $825 for a cake is outrageous.
Why not just give all your guests $5 each and call it a night
that is a super beautiful wedding cake! it looks yummy, too!
YES!!! you payed too much for it!!!!!!!!!
yes dont you think
maybe, but it looks deluxe.
