Help please? (Best answer WILL be chosen!!)?
I ate some Baybel cheese yesterday. but it was really warm, with the wax coating melting and the cheese all melty and now my stomach hurts. It was in my bag for 5 hours at a warm temperature. Is it food poisoning?
There are some answers for your reference as below, you can choose your best answers
Ask yourself these questions:
1. Am I running a fever?
2. Do I have diarrhea?
3. Have I been sick to my stomach?
4. If the answer to 3 is yes, has it been to the point of passing bile and continuing to retch violently?
5. Am I unable to keep fluids down?
6. Am I shaking uncontrollably?
7. Are my limbs weak?
If the answers are yes, you may have food poisoning. Seek a doctor or clinician's care if you have these symptoms. Also, if you do and have any of the cheese left, take it with you to be analyzed.
If your answers are no, you probably do not have food poisoning or it is so mild that it will pass on its own. Lots of fluids, fiber to help pass anything through your system and Vitamin C will help.
Consider being a bit more careful with your choices for food storage in the future.
Well, stating the obvious, I don't know that I would do this again if I were you! If you did have food poisoning it would have affected you within a few hours. You would have been violently sick, trust me. There is no mistaking food poisoning. I'm sure you just have an upset stomach. Try taking some pepto bismol tablets.
if you start getting dizzy, throw up and sweat. and have the runs. then you have food poisoning. it sucks. i had it on vacation for the first time. dont eat in the dominican republic. and never go there. it's nasty.
No. But you can have soda with lime and salt
things will be ok
its probably just gas. give it time and it will be alright. I would lay on my left hand side because it helps it pass easier.
Jeez...cheese out for five hours is fine.
The wax prevents the inside from contacting 'bad germs'; cheese bacteria are fine...
maybe... at room temp many unpleasant organisms can flourish. at room temp for five hours is quite unsafe! if it gets worse than a mild flu see a doctor without delay
no but i would drink 7 up or spite so u can belch, that should work.
