In a search you may even find actual recipes for biscuits (american style) but a biscuit is actually a cookie when said as 'tea biscuit'. Search specifically for 'tea biscuit' and you will find many 'cookie' recipes. Most often the cookie type is a shortbread version of some kind.

You aren't asking about devonshire tea are you? (That is tea with scones) If you just want a biscuit it can be anything.
