when eating at the melting pot do they give you raw food and you cook it yourself?? or is that optional? PLEASE HELP ME

Yes, the fondues cook the food as you dunk them in. Normally meats and veggies are cooked in a hot oil fondue pot. If you are uncomfortable at a fondue place, there are usually some items you can order off the menu that don't require you fondue.....But you should try it, its fun! If you can't handle cooking the meat, then just get veggies, a cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue for dessert. And don't be so stressed out....its just a restaurant!

I have never heard of this place before but a word to the wise!!! Please be careful of what kind of raw foods you are consuming. If you are not sure of the way you should eat this food then ask the waiters. Don't be ashamed. Better safe then sorry. Hey and don't stress so much, every day is a day to learn some thing new!!!
