There are some answers for your reference as below, you can choose your best answers
Simple Syrup is a liquid sugar that is 2 parts water to one part sugar.
It is best to use in cocktails since it dissolves completley compared to granular sugar which may not.
it can be bought in specialty grocery stores (not sure of brands) but it's very easy to make on your own.
Simple syrup works great in mojitos, margaritas and the like. the only drink where i prefer regular sugar is old fashioneds, which a sugar cube is necessary.
sugar melted in water. you can get some from any liquor store or bar supply. Or just make it.
a Ratio of 1/2 water 1/2 sugar, bring to boil and boil for 1 minute. Cool and bottle. Use to sweeten things that do not need granules of sugar to spoil them, as the sugar is dissolved.
According to my Old Mr. Boston's Drink Guide (printed 1960) simple syrup is made by dissolving 1 lb of granulated sugar in 1/2 pint of warm water, and then gradually stirring in enough water to make 1 pint. It can than be stored in a cool place, such as a cellar or the fridge.
equal parts sugar and water.Dekuyper does make a simple syrup
