Vegetarianism and soy protein?
i am a vegetarian and i eat more soy protein now(obviously, since i need protein substitutes). and i was wondering, is it true that soy protein causes reproductive problems, such as miscarriages and difficulties getting pregnant?
There are some answers for your reference as below, you can choose your best answers
It's pretty controversial but there is little evidence of it causing any harm. Anything in large amounts can cause problems though so limit your soy consumption to 2-3 servings a day. There's many other protein sources like nuts, beans, lentil, chickpeas, etc.
If that were true Asia wouldn't be so populated. lol
as far as I am aware is doesn't cause problems, I haven't ever heard of it causing any problems at all. You can get protein from other sources, pulses and beans, nuts, certain dairy products etcalthough it may not be good to overdose on cheese, too much fat lol.
