Depends on the salad and what else is being served. Certainly olive oil and vinegar of Greek salads, traditional Ceasar; with the anchovy and egg, for Ceasar; usually just a Thousand Island or Catalina for everyday chef salad.

Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing- probably the most versatile dressing there is. It is wonderful on it's own, but with additions, such as blue cheese, it becomes positively gourmet.

I also like Hidden Valley Ranch and Italian Dressing. But my favorite is not sold in stores its a family recipe and we call it Williams dressing.

I'll agree with raspberry vinaigrette. I, also, buy raspberry-dijon mustard to put on sandwiches: rye bread, butter, rasp-dijon, honey ham and lettuce (yum!).

I love Catalina, zesty Italian, and balsamic vinaigrette. I also like ranch. I like to dip veggies, pizza and hot wings in the ranch dressing. The best brand of ranch is Hidden Valley
