Why do I get a really soar throat after eating take-away?

For some reason lately, after eating take away like Hungry Jacks/Burger King or KFC I get a really sore throat or a lump in my throat. It can last for a few hours and is really annoying. I don't have the problem when I most other take away meals though...it seems to happen specifically when I eat meals from these places? Some one suggested I might have an allergy to chemicals used in the meals...any one have any ideas?

I would say that you have an allergy to some of the ingredients used in the food you are buying. See an allergist and have tests performed to see if you have any food allergies.

Maybe all the grease and preservatives found in those foods do not agree with your body if you ordinarily eat a healthy diet.

I think I'd stop eating at those restaurants until you find out for sure what is causing your problems.

Wow, that doesn't sound good. It could be the oil they use to fry the foods or any number of things including the chemicals or preservatives. It's hard to say exactly what unless you were tested for food allergies, which do you know if you have any? I would try to avoid those places and go to other ones that don't make you feel bad.
