Why is a round pizza put in a square box?
There are some answers for your reference as below, you can choose your best answers

My guess is that because each pizzeria has no exact "round" size with the bubbles in the crust and all, it is easier for the pizza to be put ino a slightly larger square box. Plus it is put into the box and then sliced therefore the box is not.

Because a square box is far easier & cheaper to manufacture. No sense spending a lot of *dough* on a throwaway item.

Tradition

because making a round box would be a pain in theass

cuz if it were round it wouldnt be a box

A Round pizza is put into a square pizza box because a square pizza is a lot easier to make due to the decreased amount of folding that is required to construct the box.

because the round box rolled away. haha, that was a lame joke.

its so much easier and faster and therefor cheaper to make a square box.

how the hell do you even make a BOX into a Circle? Quite hard.

Its cheaper.. and you can pick the pizza out of the box easier

Because there is no such thing as a circular box.

Boxes have 4 corners.

coz its easier than putting a square pizza in a round container. hehehe!
