Recipes for Supreme creamed peas
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1 cup cooked peas
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. chopped pimientos
Melt butter and add flour. When blended,
add milk and cook 2 minutes. Add remaining
ingredients and cook 1 minute and serve
immediately.
Recipes for Barbecue style peas
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
3 tbsp. chopped pimiento
1 can (1 lb.) peas, drained
1 tbsp. catsup
1/4 tsp. steak sauce
1/4 tsp. barbecue spice
Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add all
remaining ingredients and simmer, covered,
over low heat, stirring occasionally abut 5
minutes or until heated through. Serves 4.
Recipes for Fancy peas
2 10 oz. packages peas
8 medium fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Prepare peas as directed on package.
While peas are cooking, melt butter in skillet.
Add mushrooms and onions and saute about 10
minutes on low heat until onions are soft not
brown and mushrooms are cooked. Drain peas
and add peas to skillet. Stir and warm about
5 minutes more.

2 17 oz. can sweet peas, drained
1 16 oz. can bean
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
