Salt And Pepper Pomfret

 

Ingredients:

(1)
2 sections green onion
3 slices ginger root
1/4 t. salt
1 t. cooking wine

(2)
1/8 t. peppercorn powder
1/4 t.salt

(3) 2/3 lb. (280 g.) white pomfret

(4) 1 T. green onion (chopped)

(5) 3 c. vegetable oil
 
 
DIRECTIONS:

Cut slashes on both sides of the pomfret. Add (1) and marinate for about 10 minutes.
Heat oil. Deep fry pomfret for about 5 minutes, add (2) and continue fry until both sides of the fish turn into golden color.
Remove to a plate. Sprinkle chopped green onion and serve.
